Never missed a sunset view in Bali! This is a compulsory activity in your itinerary, I told you.
These are our entry for final Weekly Photo Challenge, our all-time favorites sunset in Bali.
Tegal Wangi Beach, Jimbaran
Tegal Wangi Beach is located in Jimbaran, and used to know hidden and had quite an atmosphere with strong currents and crashing waves. Then social media made it famous, and nowadays we couldn’t help but need extra patience and be more creative to take a shot without people in the frame at sunset hours. Although it wasn’t really crowded as at the beach in Kuta. It’s still our favorite place to chill and relax, along with the sound of waves.
Balangan Beach, Pecatu
It was partly cloudy when we came to watch the sunset at Balangan Beach. But we decided to wait, and that golden colors showed… View from the cliff of Balangan Beach was marvelous. No wonder you will have to wait for your turn to get to the edge of the cliff, compete with a nicely dressed couple and their dozen photographer crew. It is a pre-wedding photo spot, travelers! *facepalm*
Lately, sad but true, it was hard to find a not-touristy-spot in Bali. Unless there was a big natural disaster issue which makes the airport closed… But we are still trying our best to enjoy this Goddess Island somehow.
Anyway, it was a bit shocking to know that the Weekly Photo Challenge is ended. We started this blog in December last year, and the challenge ended in May this year. Like… were we too late to start?
